James Barbour pleads guiltyhttp://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny_crime/2008/01/04/2008-01-04_beast_actor_pleads_guilty_in_molest_rap.htmlThis is every theatre father's nightmare. I especially relate because my daughter is about the same age as the victim in this case at the time of the crime. Teenagers are often so starstruck that they are easy targets for unscrupulous actors. I really hope that this type of behavior isn't too prevalent. I used to really like James Barbour too. I saw him perform Lancelot live on stage several years ago and his voice blew me away. I also liked him in the televised stuff he did from B&tB. |

That's terrible! Words can't even describe. |

Ew. He's sick and shouldn't be allowed on Broadway. Think of all us young actors who would have looked up to him. I don't want some peedo as my role model. |

That is absolutely disgusting. To think of someone, anyone taking advantage of another person who admires and looks up to them. It is sickening, when you hear the stories of people who do that and the statistics of people who have been through that. |

I saw him in Sacramento Music Circus' 1776 (actually after the charges but before this happened) and he was wonderful -- it's just weird to think about having seen someone that close up who has made so many headlines. |

That's awful... poor girl.
I don't understand why Barbour doesn't have to register as a sex offender. Does anyone know the legal reasoning behind that? (lol... and this is coming from the girl who used to want to be a lawyer) |
