J&H Reception

How have other people found their shows have gone down with audiences? Just asking cos here in Sheffield the UK tour production got slated and we've found it impossible to sell many tickets because of it, yet the audience we do have has given us a standing ovation the last two nights and I'm really confused now about how much of a success this show is? Having never been to the West End etc.

it's a marmite show (you ether love it or hate it) personally i love it. but its not the type of show you go to if you dont know what it is...you dont randomly think 'oh i'll go and see 'Jekyll and Hyde' you have to set out to see it..and that being the case your probably gonna be a fan...so chances are you will like it...

we sold very little tickets up to the first night... but after the first night, it was sold out everynight

it all depends on different factors doesnt it? Is it a good production? What else is in the theatre the same week? It all depends

I am currently performing in the KVODS production (12 - 20 May, 2006). Our sales, too were slow to start out - only half full on the first 2 nights, but word has got around and we are sold out for most of the remainder of the run - 5 shows.
Anyone who still wants to see our production could try - it's at Kingston Vale, SW15 in London - and box office is 07949 285606. The 50% capacity audience have been 100% agreed that the show is a knockout!!!
