I have to admit this time around the costumes are much better. Its "cute" some of the skaters look like they are having fun.

I think they are recreating the whole video production. Its a shame they can't crawl around on the ice, but overall its interesting.

I know! I think I like the Jemima the best of them all. Hee hee, they are cute. Most of the performers playing the male roles are girls. Not too many guys to fill those roles of Munkustrap, Tugger, and Misto. But yeah, its a better attempt. Too heavy costuming would have them slipping and weighted down on the ice. I like how they did Grizabella's costume interpretation. I think they just skated to the music here, no singing or acting. It would have been cute to see. I think the beginning photos were a sort of introduction and they let the general public out onto the ice before their "show." Cute.

The costumes really are a whole lot better. Some of them look like bears to me.

Definitely cute, definitely interesting, and definitely better costumes than I remember seeing (though it's definitely the same backdrop - is this the same organization?)

The only thing I'm having trouble getting past is that half of them look like they're under 10 years old. Maybe they are, or maybe it's the style of the makeup and wigs, I don't know, but really.... Macavity and Bombalurina? They look like they're five years old.

I find it rather amusing, actually. Cute, but odd. =P I'm not completely sure what I think. Though I would have loved to see it.

Wow! I never knew there was a Cats on ice before!!! That is so cool!!! I think that Bombalurina looks really cute, VERY kittenish though! I've always thought it would be really nice to get kids to play kittens, and by the looks of it this has some kids in.

The little kids in front are SOOOOO cute! What age are the older actors? I would say, looking quickly, that most of them are under 16 years old, more like 13-14? And there are many younger ones. But the costumes may be confusing me a bit.

And I agree, that Jemima looks so sweet! The costumes are much better now. Did the parents help a bit with the job, or were they made by the teachers and cast?

I expect they're all quite young, in my experience most competitive ice-skaters are. They'd probably have it with mostly teenagers, kids doing the kittens and as many adults as they had who would do it!! That's my guess.
