It took five years, but...I finally sat down and listened to JOSEPH last night.
I love the score again. The Canadian Cast (the only decent recording) is amazing.
Since my terrible experiences with the show, I just stopped listening to it. It just didn't fill me with joy anymore.
But, five years of not listening has given me a renewed sense of why I loved the show in the first place.
It's such a happy piece. Donny is also an icredible vocalist for the role. No wonder he played the role for seven years, plus did the film.
