Is this true?

So, I was on another website (Not related to musical theatre at all mind you. Its more of a roleplaying forum) and this person posted this and said that Wicked was being turned into a movie. I called her out on it but I want you to look at the video

Not true, correct? Its just clips put together, right?

This one has been around a while...if I'm not mistaken someone on here made it maybe?

I was at a play once and got into a discussion with this guy who used to live in California and toured a studio that had a big sign up about a Wicked Movie. No idea if he was mistaken (it could have been a poster for the musical, and he was just mistaken.)

Well, I went to the link (She had it in her profile so I just watched it) and the guy said he had made it.

Wicked was originally supposed to be a movie. I'm sure one day it WILL end up on the silver screen. Just not anytime soon while they are still getting money off the broadway.

yup, definately not a real trailer, but very well done dont you think? except when you take the time to notice that kendra kassebaum is in there along with different actores than idina and chenoweth, and if disney had made it, it would not be as accurate.

Believe me, when they do make Wicked into a movie, I will probably be the first one to post it on the internet.

Do not believe the rumours you hear. They are all rubbish. If in doubt, search the internet, or ask here like you did.
