IS IT TRUE THAT...?

Is it true that because not a lot of people have been seeing Tarzan lately that the show has been cut down and some music has been taken out because the show was too long? i'm going to see it soon and if this is the case, i'll be upset cuz I love the new music in it.

Yes, some of the show has been cut out because of some very bad reviews and an awful turnout. They cut out the spider scene which was regarded as being slighly fake looking. I'm not sure what else they cut out, just that they did.

yeah, i read some really bad reviews, I don't have my own opinion though because I've never seen or heard it. I wish Disney had chosen a different one of their stories to put on broadway. I just don't see how Tarzan can translate to stage.

Awww they cut stuff? I wanted to see the full show... Confused

No.... no... seriously it is an amazing show! I'm serious. I saw it... I mean many people say you can see the wires and some effects are fake... but think of this... in The Lion King, humans are animals just by putting wooden masks on their heads, or dressing up as warthogs! I mean Lion King is great and so is Tarzan. Its very good. Don't judge before you see a show.
The Drama Queen

Does anyone know exactly what they cut? Because I remember some of the scenes were utterly pointless. (The song "Son of Man" I think was on of them...they were all just standing there singing while some video was projected onto the screen)

Was the spider scene in the movie?

^It was added to the stage show.... I guess it may have been a deleted scene or something... but most likely written just for Broadway. Smile
