ok so my school is doing Into the Woods this year..and auditions aren't till december but i want to be prepared

I just moved here and I'm a freshman so I don't know anyone but I REALLY want Red and I think I have a fair chance...I just hope they consider younger students for Red and Jack...

I'm alto / mezzo with a strong belt...I can hit bass notes and can sing up t about a high G i think...my Belt dies at about G above middle C though

I'm open to about anything...but I think a Sonhiem song would be a good coice

so if anyone knows any please let me know!

when i auditioned for little red in into the woods my voice teacher had me sing anyone can whistle.
i got called back for the role of little red and was the only freshman!!
but...they gave it to a senior.
that song would be good i think.

Double check the accompaniment on "Anyone Can Whistle", as it may be difficult for the pianist to sight-read...

And though I'm sure it worked great for you, I feel like it's not a great character choice for Little Red. It doesn't really show off her spunk.

well i think it would be a good song because it shows so many motions you can do well singing the song
i can dance the tango, i can read greek, i can slay a dragon blah blah blah plus its perfect vocal range.
my teachers had no trouble with the accompinament at all.
