Interest level for guys?

Hey guys.

My family is currently planning our third trip to NYC this Christmas. We always book a couple of shows and my mom and I have become interested in The Drowsy Chaperone over the last few months. For those of you who have seen the show, do you think it would be interesting for my 14 year old brother and my dad? They have seen a number of musicals in their time, but they probably aren't quite as easy to please as myself and my mom. I would appreciate any opinions. Thanks! Very Happy

I think they'll enjoy it. Aside from their big musical jokes, Drowsy Chaperone is a lot of fun for all and makes jokes that everyone will enjoy.

All of my guy friends really enjoyed it. I think it's a show for everyone.

for sure! It has a lot of funny parts to it and has such amazing music, if they don't like it they have to at least like the music.

this show is your typical broadway musical. Its hillarious! Everyone will enjoy it!

and if they are like most guys they will drool over sutton. LOL
The Pillowman

I saw the sample performances during the thanksgiving day parade. Does the musical revolve around that foppish homosexual droning on about an old play? If so, I can't imagine a lot of dudes that would be chomping at the bit to see it.

thats the framework..the story is the actualy musical he tells about. its a very clever farce/parody.

I've seen it three times now, and my dad and 12 year old brother both went with me once, and they both left the theatre humming part of "Show Off". It's a really great show, that I personally think is for everyone.

I went to see it with my father and his work, and my dad (who's very hard to please) loved it. However, there was another man there who hated it. It all depends on the person, I suppose.

Personally, I think it is very funny and worth a look.
