Hey, I'm in desperate need of a song for my upcoming audition for our school musical "Hello Dolly!" I'm a mezzo-soprano in my sophmore year and I like any type of song that goes from sweet ballads to fun jumpy songs. But I would like to avoid "The Music Man" and "Oklahoma!" I have two large books full of songs that contain some of these shows:

Very Warm for May
Kiss Me Kate
Anyone Can Whistle
Babes in Arms
My Fair Lady
Cinderella

Not sure about the history of these shows, but please, if anyone can give me advice for a song or a show I didn't list, it would be very much appreciated.

P.S. I also have The Teen's Musical Theatre Collection Young Women's Edition.
