Hum... as for Electra... our electra wasn't that noticeable... my favourite Madrid characters were

Victoria: Teresa Cora
and of course Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer: Hugo Riveros and Raquel Grijalba
Oh!! and I forgot about Mr. Mistoffelees: Victor Ullate Jr. Although when I went to Madrid I couldn't see him in action, I was sooooo frustrated!! because he went to act in Singing in the Rain instead, and that was the musical playing right in front of Cats!! lol, he's a traitor! But he's a very good dancer, I've seen him in West Side Story and I fell in love with his dancing skills.

He was waaaay to camp for Tugger, but I really loved his singing, especially the riffs in Mr Mistoffelees and during the bows.
And I only like the Electra because of the way she sand "Are you keen to be seen when you're smelling a rat"
It was a close one between Dean and Jack for Munkus, but you need to hear Deans voice!

If I'm thinking about who you are thinking about, he was very good. Nothing special dancing wise. Played it for all it needed to be. Like, he just done the dance (very well, I must say) but never added anything to it, or made it special.

I like the idea of Catherine Zeta-Jones as Bombalurina. She's one of my favorite actresses and she has an amazing voice.
As for Tugger, he should be David Bowie.
Rumpelteazer would have to be Renee Zelwegger. (sp? eek!)
Mungojerrie ...WAYNE BRADY!!! Just cause I know he'd work it like no other.
Victoria .. Shakira. We've all seen her dance on her videos, but I want to see her be really serious about it. Especially during that solo.

Jemima - Emmy Rossum.. although she might be a bit tall.

well you can always build pupets of all the characters and then go behind them and move them whenever their part is  something similar to Village People but wihout the pupets being attached to eachother, well you can make a couple of exceptions: Coricopat and Tantomile, and Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer could be attached in couples. That would certainly need some fast action from the performer behind those pupets, but nothing of quick changing...hehehe

Ever since I saw her as Velma in the Chicago movie, I've thought "SHE is Bombalurina!"
She's got the perfect voice, the sex appeal, and is a great dancer.
