If You Could Bring One Writting Team Back From the Dead...If you could bring one writting team back from the dead to write one more glorious show which would it be?
I would go with Alan Jay Lerner and Fredrick Loewe...Brigadoon...Camelot...My Fair Lady...Paint Your Wagon...all brilliant shows with great music and fantastic lyrics and books.

They're not dead yet, but I nominate Sondheim and Lapine to do one more brillant show.

Kander's not dead, but Ebb is, so I think this counts.
Kander and Ebb. They're brilliant.

I'd go with R&H. They were great innovators for their day, and tackled subjects that were taboo for their time. I would love to see what they would create in today's environment.
Besides that I think Richard Rogers was one of the most talented melody writers that ever existed.

Oh, that's an easy one for me. Gilbert & Sullivan. No question. Can you just imagine what wonderful material they would have today to write political satire disguised as "musical theatre entertainment".
I'm not sure they would be able to stop at just one operetta ...

I'd edit my post so it said "writing" instead of "writting" but that's just me. Would you like me to do that for you?
Reminds me of "What is it that we're meant to have wrote?... Written" from PotO

Jerome Kern and Dorothy Fields. I adore them both, separate or together.
