Ideas on what to use for audition monologue material??I have an audition coming up for the Godspell production in my city. And was curious to know if anyone had any ideas on what to use for monologue material. The singing portion I can handle...but where can I find scripture from the musical that I could use for the 2nd portion of the audition.I am auditioning for the role of John the Baptist/Judas, and would very much like any assistance. If you know of where to find any pieces of the script please let me know, or if you have any ideas on what to use for material please let me know. Thank you, and I hope that someone may be able to assist. Jayz |

I got the part...I am happy to say that my audition for Godspell in my community went really good. I found a monologue on line that really gave the sense of a lost soul looking for guidance and for the song I sang Prepare Ye.I am very pleased to say that I was auditioning for the role of John the Baptist/Judas and that I got it. I am pretty pumped about this production...it has some great music and I look forward to meeting the rest of the cast soon. I'll post more on our show with photos from the show in the future. |
