Ideas for a show

Hey, I'm looking for any ideas for shows that are not male heavy. We are losing basically all our male talent his year, and have very view prospects for next year. We have some good females who could play basically anything, but as I said, guys are lacking. If you have any ideas... that'd be great!! Thanks

Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean by Ed Graysc (sp?)

It's 8 girls and one guy, interesting show if done right, otherwise it can be EXTREMELY confusing

Does it have to be a musical? There's a straight play called Schoolgirl Figure that has i think only two guys and a bunch of girls, it's pretty twisted tho, it's a satirical look at anorexia and bulimia, but it's really funny.

But if it has to be a musical...I'll get back to you.

yeah, it has to be a musical, we do a fall and spring play, but our March show is a musical, thanks anyway

Well... this is basically a list of shows that has a lot of main girl parts:

Little Women
Thoroughly Modern Millie
Annie
Seussical (Female Cat in the Hat version)
Quilters (rather small show though)

Let's see, for females we have an amazing soprano, a mezzo, low alto, and another mezzo
We have in particular one talented dancer who can do basically anything, and some other girls who can dance kinda averagy but that's it as far as I know
In the past we've done Millie, Aida, Oklahoma, Brigadoon, Grease, Guys and Dolls, Footloose, Sound of Music, and Lil' Abner
