I will ask this many a time...about many a musical.

Right. I'm an Andrew Lloyd Webber fan, but the only musicals of his I've actually seen from him are Joseph, Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom...and CATS!!! (of course. Cool )
But I 've heard music from his other shows, one being Starlight Express. Would someone please be so kind as to give me the plot?
(flamers of A.L.W. will not be taken kindly to in my personal view, so unless you can simply state that A.L.W. is not your style, please refrain from calling his work worthless or pointless, or overrated. Not trying to be unreasonable, simply asking for a board where the subject doesn't turn into some heated debate. It's not what I'm asking for.)
Good day to you all!!
Cool

the very short explaination of it : The little engine that could that's all it is. Pretty much Rusty takes part in a race trying to prove that steam engines are better. On his way to victory he goes through a lot and like any other happy story, he gets the girl or in this case a coach named Pearl in the end along with the championship title ^^.Hope that helped.

Yeah... the plot's not really the point of the show... it's about the music, and dancing, skating and racing. Spectacle and talent!

.......ok, but the question was already answered.

(Sorry this is such a late response, and not trying to be rude here, but I'm starting to get irrelevant answers in my other posts that I ask questions in.)

Welcome to the world of the Internet forum. The Original Poster starts the discussion, but 9 times out of 10 the conversation drifts onto something else. Complaining about irrelevant posts is like complaining about the waves in the sea. It's not gonna stop it happening, you can not control what other people post!

And posting a complaint 3 months after a topic has fallen quiet is remarkably ungracious.
