I was thinking...Does Johanna ever put 2 and 2 toegether?Does Johanna ever put two and two together and figure out that Sweeney Todd is her father?

How would she know?

Yeah... she'd have no tip-off. Thus, no "2 and 2" to "put together."

Yeah she knows nothing about Sweeney or Benjamin Barker...the only thing she knows for sure is that Judge Turpin is not her real father...but it's not like he gave her any idea of who her father is (or for that matter, how she came to not have one)
I think it's really cool though how in the film she actually looks at the picture Sweeney has on his desk of Lucy and her as a baby and she doesn't even know what she is actually looking at.

she could go wait a minute.... "that baby looks like me! That woman looks like me as well."
the only other way she could put 2 and 2 together is if sweeney recognized her.

Which he wouldn't, as Sweeney never saw her after he was arrested until that moment.

I always entertained the notion that since she heard the "BENJAMIN BAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" That she would look into who it was, and why he wanted to kill the judge. Since the people around London refused to go near the room at first because they thought it was haunted, sooner or later she would hear the story, she would also learn that he had a daughter, it then depends on where the information was coming from if she learns that the name was Johanna or not.

I never really thought about it. Although she's really completely in the dark about everything, so I don't know why she would be looking for signs or anything like that, or why she would be looking for connections to herself.
What really confuses me is why it takes the judge so long to put about a zillion 2's together. I mean, sure, let's go back to London, move into my old room, pick up with my old profession, be extremely conspicuous and seek publicity, mutter things under my breath that completely give away my true identity, and that old judge will never notice.

Teehee. Now that you put it that way, it's rather impressive that Sweeney succeeded at all.

That was the one part which confused me from the start, and each time I see Sweeney in any form it seems to be the one incongruency...how is such an esteemed judge so absolutely oblivious
