Aww! It reminds me of the Mary Sue's that surround Misto, but I guess that the little girls were in heaven when they met Misto. Is that from the Russian version of Cats? | ||

that was the only pic sadly! It was on a web page about stage holdings and Cats in Russia, part of the news section, just basically saying that Russia was a really good example of how the production is staged and the way the theatre was overhauled and redesigned was a good thing for the community. | ||

*can hardly contain herself* So cute! Must hug and squeeze everyone in pictures. Now I just want to go to Russia and see Cats in costume so I can get my picture taken with the cast. I should bring a little kid with me so that will be even cuter.
It would be hilarious if in some production when Misto came out he was followed by seven kids in black and white cat costumes and they would line up behind him, but when he wasn't looking they would misbehave. Also they would have their father's powers and make random objects explode. The takeover of the electrical kittens! |

Are children often invited to see the cast backstage and made-up as cats? That would be great public relations. I can see that it would be so much fun for a child. But it must be hard for them when the moment comes to have to undress and take off the make-up.

The children can be made-up as cats every day before the show, but not like in those pictures, just like random cats, and without costumes. I was made-up once too! Unfortunately, I don't have a picture. I looked a bit like Tantomile It was fun to go back home after the show and see the surprised look on the by-passers' faces... And then I had to take off all the make-up, meow...
Also, twice a week there is an excursion for children. They can go backstages and see everything around there But I don't think they communicate with the actors a lot, because the actors have to prepare for the show.
I'm not sure where these photos come from, but I suppose it was a special day when some children were invited to a photosession or something... |

OMG! Those are just so cuuuuute! Those little girls and this little boy are lucky  I wish I could have gotten Misto's attention when I was a kid haha. Oh and one of the girls looks like she can dance!
Bravo for the costumes. Was this shot taken on a special event, or were those kids just huge Cats fan that got the luck to meet the cast in costume? Once again, major cuteness! EDIT: Oh, I just read the above post and now things are clearer ^^ |
