I've wondered this for awhile...Were the original productions of Company, Follies, and Gypsy, among others, produced by Cameron Macintosh? If so, did he produce the original Broadway runs or only the London productions?
I was wondering cuz I saw the songs being performed at his Hey! Mr. Producer concert and I never recalled reading that other Sondheim shows were produced by Cameron.

Hal Prince produced the original Company and Follies. David Merrick and Leland Hayward produced the original Gypsy.

The OLC production of Follies was produced by Cammac. The reason those songs are featured in Hey, Mr Producer, is that they are part of the Sondheim revue Side By Side By Sondheim. It was one of Cammac's first or first successful productions.
