Does anybody have a score of the recent RENT - school edition? I would like to peruse the score before I decide to direct it. I need to know what music was dropped and what keys have been changed.

MTI (musical theatre international) are the liscensers for it so that would probably be the only legal way to get it. if not, you could try diging around on ebay for it...

My school just did it but MTI gave it to us. I'm not even sure that you can get it through MTI....you can check on their website.

The piano/conductor score that's been going around is supposed to be the Student Edition, but it's actually MTI's full one for the full show.

MTI sends perusal libretti and chorus/vocal scores, but not the perusal piano-vocal score.

I believe that that is illegal. Your only option, really, is to get the perusal that MTI offers. Maybe try contacting them to see if you're able to get a full score.
