Ahhhhh!!!! I can't even explain how excited I was to meet him. I am in a musical this summer called Geppetto and Son. It is Stephen Schwartz's new musical and Larry Hochman and Stephen have come to watch our dress rehearsals. I am going to work with them tonight again!!! Its so awesome...I just thought I'd share this with everyone. I must say that Stephen Schwartz is an amazing person and I can't believe his talent with music.

Cool! I met Marc Platt in London; very very nice guy, it's funny though, because he thought it was weird I asked for his autograph, which spurred a conversation, when I saw Wicked that night Stephen was there too, but he was talking to someone and I couldn't get his attention!

I saw the movie with Drew Carey (sp?) a few years ago... but I never thought that they would make it into a show. I sure hope they made it.... well... better.

Congrats on meeting Stephen. He is a charming man - very considerate and "down-to-earth" - as everyone should be...but, sometimes feel they have no right or need to be.

I also met stephen schwartz. I am on the stage crew for Geppetto and Son. He is such a nice person. He signed this Wicked collage that I made. He said he really liked it. That made my day.

yes Geppetto and Son is a remake of the movie that was on TV. I must say it is better. It is cheesy but I love it. We are the first theatre to really do it. Larry Hochman came and visited too. He orchestrated the show and I am so happy to be a part of this show.

lol awesome! My Lit. teacher this year rejected him to the prom when they were in HS. Lol, I almost died when she told me, lol.

I know! I was like you should have let him take you its funny, she was a Freshman, he was a Senior! Her parents didnt want her to go with him. She use to listen to him play the piano. She said he said "I wanna be the best composer in the world"

Stephen is an amazing pianist. When we were rehearsing with him he decided to fix the curtain call music while we were arranging for a group photo. So he went down to the pit and began messing around. I don't think he knew that the microphone was still on and we heard it all. It was amazing. And now our curtain call music is great!!!!!!
