I'm Not That Girl w/ a boy

Does anyone no a song that is like I'm Not That Girl in that it is about rejection(if that's the right word) but that is sung by a boy?

any response would be greatly exepted.

About half the songs in Phantom.

Interesting question. Here are a few that kind of fit/fit what you need

From This Day On from Brigadoon
Melinda from On a Clear Day You Can See Forever
Where in the World? from The Secret Garden
I'm All Alone from Spamalot
No One Would Listen/Learn to Be Lonely from the film version of The Phantom of the Opera

i'm not that girl

Hey,

I'm a boy and I sing a lot and play at gigs etc. I LOVE I'm not that girl, so I just sing i'm not that boy and just change all of the her to his and she to he, him to her. Simple

You'd have to rewrite the words a little though...

Blithe smile, lithe limb
He who's winsome,
He wins her
Gold hair with a gentle curl
That's the boy she chose
And heaven knows
I'm not that boy

It's destroys all the rhymes. I rewrote it once so it would still rhyme, but I've lost the file.

It also sounds extremely pathetic and full of complete self-pity...how many guys would really want to sing a song with lyrics like that?!?! It's fine for a girl to sing but a guy? Go with one of the songs listed above, not a literal guy version of the song.
Baker

I know, I never said it was good. It's stupid and pathetic. Rolling Eyes Wink

Not really but kinda "How Many Stars?" from Bombay Dreams
It has the girl in the cast recording but you cna simply just sing both parts yourself! There is nothing genderdefining in the lyrics.

What is it about her? From The Wild Party (Lippa) is a bitter rejection song
