I'm in the cast, but...Is it worth being a chorus member?
Basically, what does the chorus do?
It doesn't mean kit kat girl, that's for sure. (I checked.)
Does anyone know how much singing or dancing is done by the chorus?

it is ALWAYS worth it to be in a show  i'd kill just to be a stage hand, myself, but as far as chorus goes, I'm pretty sure they sing "Telephone Song" if you have that one. And I've heard they sing "Wilkommen" in some productions.
Ensemble members keep the named cast company we wouldn't want lonely mains killing them selves on a nightly basis, now would we?

I was just in this show as an ensemble member. It was an absolute blast. We only sang and danced "Wilkommen" and the finale, but we got to mingle and act like a bunch of lowlifes during all the scenes within the Klub (Don't Tell Mama, Mein Herr, etc.).
Many inside jokes develop. Fun is had by all.
