I'm already WICKED, bu back at Barcelona

EY!

Yesterday I came back from London. I watched Wicked yesterday and it was Wonderful. All my fears about understanding were sillys, cause' I understood almost everything...

and the most important... I had lots of surprises because I didn't read anything about the ACT - II.

WOW! What a surprise ending and How everything match with the film.

Anyway I have a doubt (DON'T READ AFTER THIS IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE SHOW)

first of all. When Fiyero is caught he doesnt die. Why he becomes a padding man then? and why the Lion is not brave if it was liberated by Elphaba at school? I didn't understand what powers had the green elixir and why the Wizard didn't have them

Thank you for everything.

Pedro
Mistress

Fiyero becomes the scarecrow(paddingman) because of Elphaba's spell in No Good Deed (the beginning part of the song, when she chants). She doesn't realize that the spell actually worked until she gets word that Fiyero survived.

I didn't really undertsand the part about the cowardly lion myself, but I think that Elphaba was unjustly blamed for his cowardice, and that he was just traumatized by the cage.

The Elixer has no real powers, it's just alcohol, although it is suspected that it gave Elphaba her green colour since her mother was drinking it when she was concieved. Otherwise, there is nothing else particularly special about the elixr, except that it identifies the wizard as Elphaba's biological father.

I hope this helps, Pedroo52! Mr. Green

Elphaba protects the Lion as a Cub. The Tin Man claims that if Elphaba had let the Lion fight his own battles, he wouldn't be such a coward. This is, of course, a somewhat ridiculous accusation (and is meant to be so).

I had a wonderful time. I don't know if you read my last post "QUESTIONS ABOUT WICKED", but all my fears were absurd since I understood almost everything and also I had a wonderful seat.

One question. Someone told me that in "ONE SHORT DAY" had some special effect that was better to see from back far.

When I saw the show I didn't notice any special effect but the choreography of the wizomania. Am I right?

Pedro.
