I just got Kim

I just was cast as Kim in my high schools production of Bye Bye Birdie. I'm also on crew for about a zillion things so I'm going to be one busy girl. I'm somehow costume manager and stage manager which is funny since being stage manager would imply I would be managing things back stage but I'll be onstage instead of backstage. I'm pretty excited though. Practices start the day after break and there is a big "auditorium clean-up party" by that we mean we work the cast members bony little fingers off cleaning and painting and just give them a few slices of well earned pizza. I'm pretty excited about the show but a bit nervous about balancing all the stuff I have to do. If anyone has any pics from their shows I'd love to see them to get costume ideas and set ideas since we are going to start building that in mid january.

Thanks,
Kendra

Just a thought for the telephone hour, try to build a smaller replica of the box set used on broadway. That's what my school did, and it turned out looking really good.
