I got into the mission band and I'm a dude...?I thought the band was all women.
Which numbers are the band in? Psyched but not so familiar with the show (I know, I know...impossible, right?)

Nope, the band is definitely not all women - Arvide is part of it, and the script refers to a male character called Calvin, but you can have as many guys as you like. The band is in Follow the Fold, which happens quite a few times during the show, and also Sit Down You're Rockin' The Boat.

As I recal, they don't sing "rocking", they're just there in the background.

So are you in the mission band and a crapshooter (noticing your signature)? That ought to be fun doing the costume changes! 
Whether the mission band members sing in "Rockin' The Boat" is totally up to the music director. I've seen it done both ways.
