I auditoined for zaneeta yesterday, and i found out today that i didn't make it to the call backs for zaneeta!!!!! im really sad, cause i really wanted the part. also, they base it on your singing, whihc i hate because zaneeta doesn't sing and thats one of the reasons why i love her!!!!!!!!!!!! im so0 sad, cause i really wanted her..... oh well..... i guess i can still have an okay time IF im in the chorus!!!!

hey, just to tell you guys, i didn't even amke it to the chorus . im realllllllllllllllllly sad. the worst thing is that my worst enemy did........so im having a hard time adjusting............. rite now im being really pescimistic, bnut i ahve ma feelin that wont get me to far

I know how disappointing it can be to audition for a show and not get in. Especially when you are hoping for a lead, and don't even get chorus. Been there, done that -- many times.

Give yourself a couple of days to just feel terribly sorry for yourself and angry at the stupid director who didn't give you a part. But don't let it get to you for too long.

Besides, you never know. Maybe there is an unknown reason why you didn't get into this particular show. Maybe there is something better out there -- another group that is just waiting for you to show up -- and you don't know it yet. That happened to me recently. I auditioned for one show, expecting nothing larger than a chorus part, but didn't get cast at all. About a week later I got an offer from a different company to do a lead role! Who knows, that could happen to you too.

audition for another show to try to get your mind off of it. if your heart's set on the music man, try to find another theater in your area that's putting on that show as well.

First off, although I don't know what it's like in your case, when I had callbacks, it was so they could get a better idea of what our acting and singing was like. Second, I'm really sorry you didn't get Zaneeta. But don't worry, there's always going to be another play you can audition for somewhere! Just keep your chin up. Btw why did they only judge your singing? Why not your acting as well? That doesn't make sense

yeah im srry u didn't get the parts u wanted but u kno sometimes it has nothing to do with ur singing/acting/dance ability, sometimes u just dont fit the part or some one else fits it better, i totally kno how u feel, keep trying though!
