How is the new Moritz?My friend went and saw Spring Awakening last night and said he was incredible, but she never saw it with John Gallagher, Jr. So I am wondering if anybody has seen Spring Awakening lately, and how the new Mortiz is. Is he anything compared to JGJ?

I saw him the Friday of his first week.
I thought he was better than JGJ, to tell you the truth. His acting was on par, a little over the top, but I think over the top works for Moritz. His singing was at least up to JGJ's standards, if not better. I'm pretty sure had he originated the role instead of getting killed off on Lost, he probably would've been a Tony Winner (assuming, of course, that voters are voting with the same mindset that got JGJ the Tony)

saw jgj back in november and he was incredible. Also he was sick so i gave him major props.
Im see blake on the 27th (onstage baby!!) So ill let you know =]

Admittedly, not in real life, but I got 2 decent bootlegs of the broadway production that has him.

yeah, I also have tickets to see Spring Awakening with the *new* Moritz, and my roomate and I are so obsessed with JGJr, we're pretty upset we're not seeing him.
Good to know that he's still really good though.
