How did/do you see the characters when hearing the music?My question is, if you listened to the music before seeing the characters, how did you visualize them?
The Sweeney in my head looks like Colm Wilkinson with a longer nose, and thin black hair.
The Johanna in my head is Julie Hanson. (Who might actually be an interesting Johanna.)
The Anthony in my head looks like Patrick Wilson. (It's the Raoul factor.)
So, what do y'all think?

Well I already saw it, so I can't judge anything here. The show was great, except for Patti Lupone, who was constantly out of character, seemed unenthusiastic, and just plain bored on stage. Cerveris was amazing as well as Feliciano. I saw Hanson in Phantom and I thought she was a bit of a dissapointment.
I would really like to see Angela Christian play Johanna.
