Broadway Training Center of Westchester, under Artistic Directors Jason Brantman and Fiona Santos, presents its Spring Junior Ensemble production of HONK! -- book and lyrics by Anthony Drewe, music by George Stiles, based on Hans Christian Andersen's "The Ugly Duckling." Presented by special arrangement with Music Theatre International.

In the London season featuring the appearance of The Lion King, Honk! became a stand out by winning the 2000 Olivier Award (the British equivalent of the Tony® Award) for Best New Musical. Honk! is the story of Ugly, whose odd, gawky looks instantly incite prejudice from his family and neighbors. Separated from the farm and pursued by a hungry Cat, Ugly must find his way home. Along his rollicking and harrowing journey he not only discovers his true beauty and glorious destiny, but also finds love and acceptance in all its forms. Witty and hilarious, but also deeply moving, Honk!’s charm, humor and message of tolerance is perfect for a family audience... and every audience.

Five weeks of classes and rehearsal with director/choreographer Aaron Salazar culminate in a full production of "DISNEY'S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL", Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical come to life! This is not your average "Youth" Summer Theatre Camp -- this summer you will experience a pre-professional environment, where you will feel safe to express yourself and learn and grow as a young artist. It is going to be a blast, to say the least! Session II (July 30-Aug. 10) and Session III (Aug. 13-24) are 2-week Musical Theatre day camps for enthusiastic beginner to intermediate students, offering them the chance to act, sing, and dance in a fun and supportive environment.
