So I'm doing a project for Creative Writing - What qualities do people look for when choosing a favorite character? I figured that you guys could help me with this one, after all, the conclusion sounds more realistic when you have actual facts or the support of others to back it up. So if you could please post who your favorite character is and then post why you like them it would be a big help.
And, no, you're not doing my project for me, I've already done most of it, I just thought having this would help make my project better.

Here's an example of what I would like:
My favorite character is Old Man Carnes. This is probably because there is a trait that I don't like about nearly every other main character. But also, Carnes is funny and tries to keep the peace, an admirable thing to do, especially considering how much he hates Will Parker.

That isn't so bad, is it? It doesn't even have to be that long, as long as you make it clear to me who you choose, and especially why you choose them.
