Home: favourite version? How do you like to hear it sung?

I was just wondering everyone's opinion about 'Home' and how it should be sung. I did a quick, half hearted search so I apologise if there is already a thread (or three) about this.

Personally, I resent it when women do a lovely job until the last eight bars or so and then decide: "hey, never mind about the tonal quality I had for the first three inutes of song, she gets determined at the end so that MUST mean that I can belt the hell out of it." I much prefer 'Home' when the last few bars are sung in a strong but controlled manner with plenty of dynamics.

What are your opinions on this song?
What can make or break it?
Who did a phenomonal job?

Thanks everyone!

ME. TOO.

I really don't like belty Belles.
Apples2for10

It's probably my second favorite addition to the score (after If I Can't Love Her). In terms of what can make or break it, my biggest pet peeve is when the beginning is sung in white-hot anger (a la Ashley Brown).
