Welcome to the boards. Watch out for the Wicked bashers here, but don't be discouraged. A lot of people come to first appreciate musical theatre through their exposure to Wicked (which I also think is a good show). These boards are a great place to expand your horizons of theatre and learn about other shows.

Don't worry about your english. I think it's rather charming actually. As long as we know that you're not a native english speaker most of us can be very forgiving (Just watch out for TVAW). Look at it this way - posting here will give you an opportunity to improve your english skills as well as becomming more involved in theatre. For the most part folks here have pretty good english grammer as compared with many other boards, so you can learn from their examples.

Hi Anne,
Don't worry about your English it is much better than my Spanish is (and way way way better than my French). I started out in musicals by loving Phantom of the opera and later discovered Wicked. as you start hearing aboutshows here you will want to check them out and end up loving them. Are you just a fan or also a performer?

I'm a Wicked fan, too, Anne!
Sondheim (Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods), Rodgers and Hammerstein (Cinderella, The King and I), and Andrew Lloyd Webber (Phantom of the Opera, CATS) are all great composers you should check out.

What is your favorite show you have been in? Mine is The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe which I just finished.

Welcome, I'm pretty new here myself and there are a lot of friendly people here and as the others say, don't worry about your English, I think it's good besides typing in English should help you improve it. Like you, I love just about all musicals (except for High School Musical) I love Wicked and I don't understand why people hate it. My favorites are Oliver! and Hairspray.
