Hi!

I believe that I have a challenge for you Pippin buffs. Our school is doing Pippin this year and there is a chance that only one of our strong guys (tenor) will audition...so the LP is open!! I can belt like crazy and I am really charasmatic. I am not the best female dancer at our school (she is a ballrina) and I am aware that LP usually involves the most dance ( I do have moderate training in modern and tap). So I was wondering what song (not from the show) would best for me to sing...
Here is the challenge in case another strong guy auditions or they want the ballerina... I would like to be Catherine.

What song could allow me to be seen as of those characters?

I'm directing a production of Pippin in about 9 months.....For LP, go with something from Chicago, like All that jazz or maybe Big Spender from Sweet Charity. Those musicals are in the same family as Pippin and those songs are not exactly "Catherine-ish"

Best of luck. I myself have an audition for Miss Saigon tomorrow and I'm battling a sore throat!
