The line where Higgins describes himself and Pickering as "confirmed bachelors" is a little unfortunate.

I don't know about you chaps in the US, but in the UK, we all know what that is code for.

I always thought he was straight...with some feelings for Eliza throughout the show.

That being said, sometimes straight guys who are bachelors have hard time getting ladies and straight girls who are single have a hard time getting gentlemen.

Plenty of straight guys are just not interested in relationships of any kind. That does not necessarily make them asexual.

Wasn't there a similar thread a couple years ago?
