You forgot to mention Gracie and Amayrillis.

In my opinion Eulalie or Mrs. Paroo is more fun to play than Marian. But I think those straight lead female roles are rather boring. | ||

Yeah, in this case I kind of agree. In my opinion, Marian is a great singing role. As far as the acting goes, however, there's not a lot of variety to her, there's not a lot of room to play around and experiment without being untrue to her character. Not to say that I didn't love playing her, because I did, but if you're primarily an actor I'd go for Mrs. Paroo or Eulalie (that is, if either is your type). Good luck!! And next time, dont' be lazy. |
