Just wondering if anyone could tell me the musical that I'm thinking of. I've got one of the songs stuck in my head but thats the only song I know. It's not very popular over here so I'm hoping it is in the US.

The song is called "The ballad of...". The show's based around a miner in the US. The song is very soul-y, not sure if the rest of the show is.
