Help with Cockeyed Optimist

I'm singing Cockeyed Optimist for an audition (starting with the line "I hear the human race...") and I need some help coming up with movement for it. I'm terrible at thinking up my own movement for songs; nothing seems natural to me (though just standing still isn't natural either). So please, if you have any ideas to get me started, let me know! Thanks!

Think about what Nellie's saying. She's taking about keeping hope when no one else does. I think everyone has done that at some point. Also, Nellie herself is just a bubbly character. She's almost like a theatre person, only less hyper. Do you know what I'm saying? Gah, I can't say what I mean. Sorry.

Thanks for the help. And I think I got what you meant.

I watched a couple videos of youtube of people performing Cockeyed Optimist, not to copy what they did, but to see which movements work and which don't and I think I've got some ideas.

I have my weekly voice lesson in a couple days so my voice teacher will be able to help me if anything looks akward, but she wanted me to already have added some movement to it before she helps.

I hope you figure out what to do! I'm sorry I couldn't help any more. Let us know how it goes!

My audition isn't for two more weeks, so I have a lot of time to practice. Laughing

Well, that's good. I have an audition on Tuesday, and I'm pretty much freaking out.
