HELP ME! ANNIE AUDITION TOMORROW!

I have an annie audition and I'm stressing. I have to sing Tomorrow in its original key and cant controllably belt the E-flats...its easily in my range but I have no idea how to make these E-flats more annie-like and blunt because they way im singing it...its too proper and rounded.

I know the directing team and they know what I can do, but I am auditioning with 22 other potential annie, 5 or 6 of whicha re actual competition. How can i make myself stand out?

I also have to act to act out the scene where warbucks tries to take me locket off and have to be hysterical...any ideas how I can covey this. If oyu want the idalouge written out let me know.

STRESSING OUT HERE! ARGH!! HELP ME! PLEASE REPLY, EVEN IF ITS JUST GENERAL AUDITION ADVICE (EVEN THOUGH IVE BEEN IN LIKE 10 SHOWS ALREADY, I COULD USE ANY HELPFUL ADVICE)

THANKS HEAPS! Laughing d'oh! Neutral Confused

If you're anything like me, the more you stress over a certain note in a song the more wrong you think it sounds!! Try singing it just a semitone higher, then go back to the original key and sing it. This usually helps for me!

I played the part of Annie a few years ago and know exactly what scene you are talking about! When we first started rehearsing i felt it was too whingy and not spontaneous. However it's important to remember she is just a child so is 'allowed' tempermental outbursts. Try to think about how important the locket is to her - it symbolises her link to her parents, her dream for a good life, basically it's her key to feeling loved. So for someone to take that away is devastating - especially when she has nothing else!

Hope this helps!!!!!
