HELP! HELP! HELP! Opening night is this Wed 2/27!!!I need a blessing for a sewing machine. lol I tried to listen to what they say in the movie but it's really complicated. lol I was thinking about just saying, "Ashem" (probably spelt way wrong). What do u guys think???

Even that may be little or no help. The blessing would be in Hebrew, more than half of which I don't think I could get my tongue around. The subtitle may show only "Prayer in Hebrew" or something like that...unless maybe there's a Hebrew subtitle track?

Our rabbi as of right now is sort of mumbling and we have a big AMEN at the end. Works fine.

Our rabi mumbled fora while... then said sowing machine... then mumbled a bt more than amen. The audience seemed to like it!x

That seems to be the usual solution. I like to see it taken a step further so that he whispers to himself for a few seconds, then the big "Amen." It eliminates the risk of sounding fake that way. There's probably a reason why the blessing is not written out in the script - it's pretty immaterial to the show itself.
