help directing Joseph

Question..... I was just askd to direct "Joseph" for a little community childrens theatre. I agreed being slightly familiar with the show and loving the theatres proposed mission. Unfortuantely, all they gave me was the Conductor / piano score and a vocal book. They have orchestra parts books as well and that is it. Am I missing something? Is there more? Help!!!!

I'm not quite sure what you're looking for... is there not an adequate number of vocal books for all the actors?

There is no actual written script or liberetto because the musical is sung all the way through. Most of the stage directions aren't clearly stated. This gives the director leeway to be an artist and take the show in whatever direction you want.

yes... I was wondering if he or she was looking for a script...
all the actors need are vocal books, but if those are not provided, I would ask the theatre about it.
