Hi everyone, I am going to take my Music Theatre grade soon and I really wanted to do the song Carrie from the flop musical Carrie because i think it's an amazing song and it shows such a range of emotions. but because the performance rights haven't been released i dont think I will be able to get hold of the piano music. has anyone got any suggestions for similar songs? (I know there aren't many musicals about crazy girls but I really want a song that can really communicate how her loneliness and humiliation caused her to do what she did.) any suggestions especially from lesser known musicals would be greatly welcomed! not stricltly audition but thanks all the same! "I'm not that girl" from Wicked? This song expresses longing and desire to fit in. It doesn't necessarily have that sort of mood-swing in it but It's still a great song!
