HELP! Annie Audition!Im Auditioning for Annie on Saturday. ive done heaps of shows and can sing/acta nd dance very well (so im told). The directors know me well and know what I can do but I want to stand out from the rest...there's 23 girls auditioning 4 the role. Im 14.
I have to sing Tomorrow whihc is in the WORST key... 6 flats! Argh! its not that bad, but I have to go into my head voice with the D's and E flats and it doesnt sound particularly Annie-like. Im finding it hard to controllably belt these notes...any ideas?
Also I have to do 3 bits of dialogue showing different parts of her personality. Scene 1 - The Orphangage. Loving and sweet one moment and tough the next. I only go up to Maybe. Im pretty right with this.
Then, Act 1 Scene 8 The Mansion. When warbucks tries to take her locket off. Shes hysterical at this point....crying etc.
Then, Act 2 Scene 6 when she is about to go with her 'parents'. The Maybe Reprise. Umm....have to be confused about leaving Warbucks and sad when she finds out her parents are dead. Then loving to Warbucks and though on the line 'who the heck are ralph and shirley mudge'
If you guys would find the actual lines heplful ill type them out for u but any tips would be awesome!!!

Boylan/Chorus/Star-to-be/LilyI got a Boylan with 2 of my best friends, Star to be which I hear is a gr8 part and Lily - looking forward to doing that. I was to tall for annie...but im in the adult chorus so yeah. Apparently i was 2 big for an orphan too! 
Just wondering....which orphan has the biggest singing role and which has the biggest acting role?

Um, that would be Annie lol. But seriously, either Pepper or Molly. Pepper is kind of the leader, and Molly has the cute factor, so they kind of even out, but it just depends on the age of the performer. Why do you ask?

If you would have bothered to read all of the 2 other posts in this thread, you would see that she already was cast, so your response is pretty pointless.
