Help me pick 2 nice contrasting ones I should use!









Keep in mind these are all before touching up. I cropped them a little myself.

PS - have you noticed I have one eyebrow that always goes up higher than the other? I look perpetually sarcastic!

Love the first one on the 3rd row, def. screams leading lady to me, makes you look like a great person to work with. I would take a chance on you with that photo.

I also really like the first one in the jean jacket as a 2nd option. That one screams I've got some sass and can be a great charactor actress as well.

I say the two together, would be the perfect pair for contrasting and showing a sense of versitality.

overall I'd be very proud of these photos any of these would really be sellable as a headshot!

I'll get back on my choices, but I'd like to say that I have an eyebrow with a mind of its own, as well! No matter what I do my smile always looks sarcastic and knowing, hahaha.

I absolutely adore your smile in the third picture of the second group of shots.

I also like the first picture in the third group, and the first in the last group.

Okay. Here goes.

Blue top: None of them are my favorite. I like the 3rd one best but I like the other outfits better.

Jean Jacket: I like all three of these pictures. The first is really sassy and could work for a comedic role. I personally think the second makes you look the youngest, you look like a spunky teenager. The third is alright, maybe not headshot material, the eyes aren't as connected as the others.

Gray Shirt: The first is nice, I like it a lot. I don't like the second one, I think you look a little... crazy? Is that mean? I don't mean it that way, you know. I think the third is the best of these three, it seems really relaxed and confident, leading lady.

Pink shirt: I don't especially like either of these, but the second one could work if you were trying to downplay your good looks. Not that you don't look pretty! It just sends the vibe of a goofy comedienne.



So I didn't pick two like you asked... I just can't.

The photo on the left of the third line (the first one in the grey shirt) is absolutely stunning! I would go that one: relaxed, confident, connected - beautiful!

For a contrast, I would say the third in the second row (in the denim jacket), or the right-hand one in the first row (blue singlet). These would work for a perhaps more comedic, quirky or even younger role.

The first two in the second row are quite nice. I instinctually was drawn to the second because of the closed mouth smile. I thought it looked like you had a secret, and seemed intriguing.

In contrast I think the first in the third row is a great choice as your face is more open to the camera, you can see your whole smile and you look relaxed and lovely.

I personally like the one on the left in the top row, and the middle one in the second row.

The latter is so perfectly MM to me: sort of mischevious, yet beautiful and professional. The smile is so 'Mona Lisa' -esque.

I like the first one because you have a mischeivious look. This would do nicely for comedic roles. In the second one you look very ingenue-like.

all the blues are adorable, but the best of these three is this one, the last one. you have a very pretty, big smile which is great for the stage, but this one it's a little less toothy, and you look a little more natural. it's almost one of those "you caught me laughing" shots, which are super popular now. there is a twinkle in your eye that made me smile. plus your dimples are prominent and that is so cute.


this one is so nice (i love all the jean jacket ones), but your eyes dont connect enough.

i agree with others, this one has some sass and attitude. i like it for certain roles, but because of the way your mouth is it does sort of change the look of your face overall...not in a bad way, but it's not one of those "HOLY GORGEOUS" shots that the others are. but it is PERFECT for a saucy or sassy or funny character. so this might be a good contrast to one of your "hallelujah i am beautiful" pics.

i love this one because i looked at your eyes right away. it is a little knowing but still sweet, which shows a lot of contrast already. plus it shows your pretty swan-like dancer neck, which is great.


this is one of those "holy gorgeous" shots i was talking about. you look sweet as apple pie in this. there is a little wrinkle in your nose that makes me just wanna give you a giant hug and the leading ingenue role. haha.

this one is a teensy bit too manic for me. but you still look pretty...how do you do that? please explain it to me. estoy ...jealous.

this one is probably my favorite. it has the sweetness of the first one in this row, but also has this undeniable sparkle in your eyes that makes me just grin, as well as remember you. this is the one i remembered and didn't have to switch screens to look back at. it is so so so pretty and memorable.


neither of the pinks are my fave, but the first one is def. the best of them. your smile and dimple look very adorable in that one.


you got great shots for going to that cheap dude. i'd say job well done! you are frick-fracking hott stuff.

These two are my favorites. Contrasting, too! They're all beautiful, but I think the ones in the hot pink sweater make you look older than the others. I have the eyebrow issue as well, but your is basically under control. Mine? Not so much. haha

Dear MaryMag,

You are really pretty, and you're very photogenic!


In Photo #6, your pose, and your overall appearance, are classically streetwise (Ie: The head tilted to one side, the broad smile, the tough-looking jacket, which is almost pulled closed).




In Photo #10, you look slightly less sweet and innocent than you do in Photo #7, but your overall look provides more contrast with your Photo #6 look (Ie: You're wearing a brightly-colored sweater, you're holding your head straight, your facial expression is slightly sweeter that it is in Photo # 6, so that you convey a more wholesome, honest, sweet appearance.)

If I were a talent scout for a movie company, I'd probably cast you as a very flirty, 1920s Flapper-type girl (Photo #10), who may have to adjust to the Crash of '29 (Photo # 6). Judging by photo #6, you could be the next Natty Gann-type character, even though you're prettier than the girl who played Natty Gann (Natty Gann was a 1985 Disney heroine, who had to search for her father, and "rough it," during The Great Depression). I think that your character would be called "Marie", and that she might start out as a very rich girl.

I know that I'm standing on the soap box, but I know that if I had your looks, I'd be heading straight for Hollywood!
