[Nicely Nicely]

Hello!

My high school is putting Guys and Dolls on next weekend. I play Nicely Nicely.

Any tips on how to make him better? And I have to help arrange curtain call...any tips?

the best curtain calls are usually the ones that leave the audience wanting more, not the other way around- so make it quick

Ours went as follows:
Mission band stayed on stage after finale to bow while everyone else left
-hot box dancers
-gamblers
-gamblers and dancers with bigger parts (aka mimi and angie the ox)
-brannigan, rusty charlie and a couple other people)
-benny and nicely
-nathan, adalaide, sky, sarah
-company bow
-give to orchestra
-give to light/sound booth
-final bow
-smile 'til blackout

it went really fast- as soon as one group was ready to take a bow the next was running on

When I played Nicely, I got to improves a lot with my actions... but depending how your school is, some schools don't want that. Try and be as out-going as you can. In this role, you can never be too funny. Also, do you have a high pitched New York accent... cuz if you do... it'll make the role twice as fun for you and the audience.
