I like #1 the best and I also like #7...of the white background ones...I'm not a huge fan of the black background with your hair/complexion because it's not as dramatic. Your hair kinda gets lost...but I like the last pic of the black background look...
It's just for college and honestly, I didn't even HAVE headshots at that time of my life! LOL! So you're already a step ahead of a lot of folks.
One critique as you look to do them in the future. These shots would be great for modelling, as you have a lot of 3/4 shots, but as headshots, they are generally either too far away or too close up. That's my only problem with #1. I can't get a sense of how long your hair is, your general body shape, etc. #7 is closest to being the correct distance away for a headshot, though it could stand to be closer...I would say as long as it shows your neck/shoulders, that tends to be enough for a headshot.
A headshot should really show what's going on in your eyes. That's always the most important thing. You should always be looking toward the camera, so one of those pics is out, where your focus is elsewhere...
But I love #1 because your eyes are saying so much in that picture. it shows enthusiasm, passion and confidence. If you can crop #7, I really like what that would look like if you cropped it to be a horizontal pic...Your eyes say a lot of good things in that pic as well! And I love the expression you have in the last black background pic...
Those are my three favorites...
Go get 'em, girl! I'm sure you'll be great! This is a wonderful start to what I'm sure will be a great career!
