Headshot Help!I need to send my headshot to be pre-screened for a short film.
I don't know what to send them!'I can edit them multiple ways, but nothing too intensive, like saturation, change from color to black/white.... just please give me your thoughts... beacuse this is all I have right now and I kind of hate them all!
I was thinking about either making these black/white or reducing saturation of these...?
I wish I could make my face look less fat! Also, why does my hair look so red?

The last one really stands out to me. Gorgeous.

I see what you mean about the red hue...odd.
Anyway, the one with the toothless smile gives you a very diginified air that enhances your already alluring features, so I would choose that one.
Now for the difficult task of dragging my eyes away from your face's hypnotic pull...hmm, this may take a while...

I know! I don't get it! And it seems like the skin is the right color, just my hair is really red.
And the part calls for a blondie blonde, so I don't want to send it in and have them think I have light red hair.
Also, the first one I know isn't good quality, but it will be smaller, so hopefully that won't matter.

I'm no expert on headshots or anything, but just from personal opinion I like the first and the last one best. The last one makes your face look gorgeous, and your pose in the first one is very striking. You look great in all of them, though!

The 3rd is my favorite. Most everybody's headshots are going to be ear-to-ear smiles; by using the 3rd one you would, in my opinion, stand out amongst the others.

The last one is beautiful! Love it.

I feel like I look a sleepy in the last one though.

Nope...inaccurate representation of your hair colour notwithstanding, it's perfect for the intended job and you look stunning.

I don't know you in person, obviously, but from pictures you've posted before the 1st looks the most like you.
And without being insulting I don't find the other two particularly flattering, though you still look very pretty.
Also you remind me of Kate Winslet.

Haha story of my life.
Thanks though.

I agree with most that the last picture is best.
You look a little like Annaleigh Ashford, esp in that last picture.

Always use color.

Even if it gives the wrong impression of my coloring?

Yes, although ideally you have a headshot that accurately reflects what you look like.
Otherwise you risk being screened out because they are going for a certain coloring and they can't type you in, so you get typed out. JMO after working with a casting agent and director on casting a short film. Although once we got a ways in, the agent provided standard head and body shots they had taken, so we could really compare apples to apples. So I think you just don't want to be prematurely typed out.

Okkk... this is making sense?
What if I de-saturated it?
Right now my computer is working pretty slow, or else I would upload what that would look like, because then its clear I'm a blonde with green eyes, but the strawberry-ness is taken away.
But is that so "photo-edit-y"?

Or you could just note on your resume "hair is currently a natural blonde" and then they'll know that you have blonde coloring. I don't think the strawberry is that far off. It's just something that might get you noticed ("we were hoping for a redhead!") or dismissed ("we can't use a redhead in this part"). But if they like your look, they'll read your resume and then you can fill in the blanks.
