He he he!

I was watching an episode of a show we have in the UK currently being aired on BBC3 called 'Tittybangbang' and a sketch came on with a hillarious Cats reference.

Basically its about a singing teacher and her keen young pupil who is desperate to get into musicals. Her student always performs annoying renditions of her favourite show tunes and this episode it was the turn of Cats!

She was wearing cat ears in the garden and making cat like movements, when she gets the attention of her teacher she attempts to sing Memory but is totally tone-deaf.

Really hilarious, I will try to post a link to it when I can find one.

Do you know if they have or will release this serious on DVD? I can't get freeview until next year when in private sector housing at uni and can probably bung the ariel in. I could do it now but don't have the means to get one at the moment, nor the room, so il have to wait till then (and I want BBC3 anyway not just for that!)

Glad you liked it. I would imagine that the BBC will release this on DVD if it is popular enough. I know they have released most comedy that they have produced for BBC3

If you go to the BBC3 webite you can watch all the episodes anyway.

Ahhh I'll try to see that video tomorrow, it aint working right now (what episode is it?). Lol... my sister told me once she watched some movie in which there was a little girl who had to do a song from a musical for homework or whatever, and that everyone in her class but her had chosen to sing Memory from Cats. Must have been quite funny actually. Does anyone know what movie it is?!

I am pretty sure that was in 'School of Rock'. It was really funny, the whole class just looked at her as if to say "what on earth"...!

School of Rock...ahh... one of the greatest movies there is...

For general information, "Mr. Schneebly" is trying to find background singers for the "School Project" called "Rock Band," and the know-it-all girl, Summer, says she can sing. He askes her to, and she starts out with the most well-known part of memory. The students don't look at her because of what she's singing, but because... well... she can't sing. It's a beautiful thing.
