A theatre company I'm a member of is thinking about doing it later this year, but I haven't heard anything about it other than that it's about Cole Porter and that it involves quite a bit of dancing.

Has anyone heard of it/been in it/seen it? What's it like? Any links?

Its a brillioant musical revue of Porter's songs. I have the double lp recording on vinyl. It has some of his best well known and rare numbers in it. I'd say about 40 songs all told.

I've seen two productions in VA and enjoyed it both times. There's a single young pair that does a bit of dancing, an Elsa Maxwell / Merman type and others.

The second time I saw the show I was hosting a weekly 90 minute show tunes radio program. The week before the opening, I hosted some of the cast members and director for interviews and comments on the songs and production. For the month before the show's opening, I played 90 minutes of Cole Porter songs (less commercials) per week for 4 weeks, without duplicating any songs, and without touching either Anything Goes or Kiss Me Kate. That was fun.

AHH!!! I saw this at West Chester University last year....when I was still deciding schools! It was fabulous!
