Hairstyle for LieslI'm just wondering if anybody has a suggestion on hairstyle for the role of Liesl...
I've tried doing braids, but my layers stick out to much. French braids MIGHT work...
Still, I was wondering if there was anybody who had a specific reccomendation for hairstyle of this character.
Thankies!

There are several hairstyles that were popular for young girls during the 1940's.
You could actually do French Braids, but don't braid it entirley. You could do two mini French Braids ending almost life a half pony-tail would near the top of your head.
You could also pull it back in a half pony-tail with a barret. That way your hair is out of your face so when you dance it won't be in the way. Just make sure that the barret has enough hair in it to hold it in place.
You could also leave you hair down for the show and only pull up two sections on either side of your head to make almost mini pig-tails. But instead of using pony-tail holders use barret it would look more soffisticated.
Also depending on the length and the type of hair you have you could try either completley curing your hair in light ringlets or curling your hair underneath. I would recommend this especially if your hair is about shoulder length.
