I read on the Internet Movie Database (imdb.com) that Sigourney Weaver is starring in a 2008 TV movie entitled "Gypsy and Me" as Gypsy Rose Lee.

Here is the plot summary (from imdb.com):

"Set in the 1950s, famed burlesque artist Gypsy Rose Lee, is at the tail end of her striptease career. Lee had decided she was too old to disrobe in front of strangers and hustled to keep up her fame and extravagant lifestyle by becoming a bestselling author, and getting her life story turned into a musical."
