He is such a neat and genuine person. We had so much fun getting to know each other in person.

It was really fun. I had the opportunity to meet both disneybeauty and her oldest daughter. disneybeauty has definitely picked the right name for herself here on MdN. She is truly a beautful person inside and out.

DB's daughter had fun with my kids, then we all had an ice cream together. We shared stories about performing, life, and children. Later that evening we both saw the same show. It was serendipity that our paths crossed, and I don't know if they ever will again. I hope they do because I know that I have made a friend.

This was my first personal encounter with another MdN member, and I hope it's not the last.

Thanks SBD! Your family is just so neat. And your girls are so beautiful. You are such a great guy, and I feel so lucky to have been able to meet you.

My daughter is still talking about the ice cream. Maybe the sprinkles were a bit too much for her tummy to handle.

It was just so great to finally put a face with a name.

If any of you get the chance, SBD is truly a remarkable person. I still am in awe.

^ Not exactly. Based on one of disneybeauty's posts I figured out that there was a chance that we would cross paths because of a common interest our children have. We corresponded by PM and it turned out that we were both going to be the same place last weekend, so we decided to meet each other. I'm glad we did because it was so much fun.

My wife thought I was nuts to want to meet an MdNer, but in the end she was OK with the whole situation. I do travel around a lot on business so maybe I'll visit a place near one of you someday. If so it would be fun to meet. Who knows, maybe you'll get a PM someday from me.

My husband thought I was pretty nuts as well. But all is well now. I just couldn't pass up the chance to actually meet someone that I felt like I already knew so well.
Plus we had so much fun!

Seriously, SBD is one of the coolest people I have ever met. He has such a generous nature about him, and so brilliant in so many subjects. A true renaissance man.
I was initially scared to meet. After all I was with my daughter, and I have a history of being a psycho-magnet. But the minute I saw SBD, my fears and apprehensions were gone. He is so warm and gregarious.
I truly hope that others here at MdN get to meet him. He is a wonderful man.

disneybeauty is too kind. She is also a top notch person. She is easy going and fun to talk to with a fun upbeat personality. She is an absolute pleasure to be around.

I realized later that we never took any pictures. I suppose it's just as well because I would definitely look second class next to her. Our total visit was about 2 1/2 hours, but by the time we finished talking it seemed like I'd known her for ages. Now I want to see her perform. I know she'd be great!
